Resolutions, Volume 3

I actually purged one both toons on the one server and added a toon to the other two servers, so these are all three-character servers.
Realm: Twisting Nether
KoKoKomish, Druid of the Udder
Quick Note: This is an RPPVP realm, one of the few that still exist. I guess people don't like getting ganked in character. The name is also randomly generated. I played this toon and was disappointed in how hard it was to play a druid at a low level, plus the fact that the Tauren starting quests have you collect everything imaginable and I never had bag space all made me lose interest in this character. The addition of quests with bags help, plus KoKo has added some $ for bag space.
Necessary goals:
Lofty goals: Raid an alliance town. Sure this still sounds good.
Sadlychanged, (Hujoo) emmasculated Troll Warrior Regaining Honor.
Quick note: This toon was originally named Hujuwanmekil. I joined an all troll rp guild and I really got into it. Then someone reported me for a TOU violation. (You're not supposed to name your toon a sentence, though this must have been some spiteful player who reported me because I had another Hujuwanmekil at the time that still has that name). I sent all my gear and money to KoKo and prepared to delete my toon. But I just couldn't do it. So I fished up a new identity. I would spite "The Man" and declare that I was in fact Huju and fought naked. I wielded my blacksmith hammer as my only weapon and wore a cape (which I had turned visuals off for) and ever time I would Thunder Clap (the only early warrior ability you can use without a real weapon) I would shout "I am Hujuwanmekil." As I leveled and adventured with other players I regained my honor and added armor as I went until I tanked RFC and fully re-armored.
Necessary goal:
Get the new Hujoo to the same level and if possible the same gear.
Lofty goals: Get a paid name change. I really don't want to spend $10 on something like calling my dude something else, but I've come close a few times before. Huju is now taken on the server but other spellings are still available. I could also roll another Huju and just level him up to the same point and transfer over all the non-boe pieces. Then I guess I could retcon and do a Varien Wrynn esque dual-personalities storyline. Truth is only I care about this stuff, but if you don't have pride in your storyline, no one else will. Legit why didn't I just roll a new Hooju, I can have him leveled up mad quick. Yeah I think that may be the plan. I really don't want an 85 called sadlychanged. That's just sad.
Update: I couldn't think of any reason not to start a new character and just restart. So I rolled a toon named Hujoo (whose names more sense that how I spelled it above), and ran through the new troll starting area, which was quite fun.
Realm:Shadow Council
Datren, The Gray-White Avenger
Quick Note: This is actually my first Draenei. So of course he was a miner/jc. I really don't see too many Draenei hunters in game though which is cool. Still with all this he was just another toon. Not anymore! In the spirit of the naked troll project I was going to level this toon without any performance enhancing adornments. No potions or elixirs, no magically enhanced weapons, gear or rings. Just my talents, abilities and my faithful pet and a bunch of white and gray gear. I'll set out the rules when I do a feature blog on Datren, so I can line out what I may allow to let my stats get a +X bonus to it. I've decided to add Green and Blue and Purple gear, if it doesn't have a stats bonus or an on use or on hit ability that isn't a bleed. Bleeds seem like something you can do with skill, wheras poisoning weapons and such seem too magic enhanced. I also okayed phyical enhancements, like an extra layer of armor through armor kits and some engineering additions.
Neccesary goal: Level up to at least where I get my last cloak. Gray or White cloaks end at somewhere in the 20-30s so thats the last upgrade I can get in that slot. Nope. In fact I could have gotten up to 75 so I could get the Gnoneregan cloak from the special event. Didn't get near to 75 so it's back to a cloak at lvl 45 all the way through leveling. However, there is a bug that makes randomly generated stats not appear on "of the ...." items. So I may get lucky and snag a green level item with no stats.
Time permitting goal: Get to level 80. I just want to see how much gear really plays into your ability to function as a player. Can I do level 78 quests without 10k health? I also want to see if people notice I'm not even wearing greens in the daily random (I won't have the gear score to join a random heroic). I think I might get a kick out of the people who go "You don't even have a green, how do you even do that?" Don't think I even made it to 30 (only to lvl 25), still it'd be interesting to get to 85 and see a quest blow me up. I can't queue for any Cata dungeon unless I get really lucky with blank drops from green or blue items.
Lofty goals:
Aritimi, Grinding Belf Ranger
Quick note: This is another gimmick character. What if you weren't an adventurer. What if you hunted to sell meat or eggs at the market? What if you didn't want to spend time doing other peoples' chores and just wanted to earn your living like a normal person. Well Aritimi doesn't quest. She just goes out to kill and skin/loot mobs. Whether it's killing pirates to endear myself to the local traders, or collecting eggs it's just business... and business is good. I've actually made more money and gotten better gear than I have done questing, plus grinding is more consistent exp. you don't lose time walking back and forth gathering and returning quests. My biggest goof though is I rolled a hunter, and the only way to get a pet is to do quests, oops. Good News! Pets area trainable ability! Yay! Now I just need to figure out where my phantom 2 quests came from. I had 6 when I first logged in and then 4 dissapeared. No idea. I think maybe doing random dungeons does count as quests. I downloaded a few addons to try to identify what those quests were.
Necessary goal:
Time permitting goal: Level to 80. I may be the first person to prove that I leveled to 80 without any quests, but this is a little bit more of a character choice. Well if those 2 quests stick that's a fail. I still have Carlah the cow, but hitting 85 with two quests would be impressive too.
Lofty Goals: Gear all epics. First of all, all Northrend factions, except Horde Expedition are closed to me. No quests equals no rep. Trying to convince groups to keep me as a hunter with no pet could be hard for the expedition rep or for Emblems. Even the Argent tournament is quest based. So it looks like leatherworking epics and the Auction house may be my only choice. Maybe wintergrasp mark gear too or honor epics. Yay for trainable pets, I can get into raids and what not without ever doing a quest, though again, rep gear is useless as I need at least friendly to buy a tabard to get rep.
Mullani, Look Another Human Mage!
Quick Note: Yes, yes. This is another human mage, so sue me. I like mages, and I wanted to see the new human starting zone when the 4.0 changes came out. The name is the surname to my main Cerrander. One day I just up and pulled what I thought was a non-sense word out of my head. Cerrander is still very much non-sense, but Mullani is apparently a surname in India. Who'd a thunk it? So this is my third human mage and my fourth or fifth mage (not counting my other account and various trial accounts).
Necessary Goal: I think it would be to finish out questing Westfall, as I don't have any other toon to send there int he right level bracket. I do already have some questing in Redridge and will have a few in Darkshire.
Time Permitting Goal: Run through all the new oldworld dungeons.
Lofty Goals: Maybe, like, rp a bit. Since this is an RP server and all.
